About

As a student of the Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg I finished my thesis about mobile sensor robots in October 2014. During 22 interesting weeks I solved the task of a low cost robot plattform, which is able to:

  • run the Robot Operating System (ROS)
  • physically move
  • use data collected by the Asus Xtion Pro i.g. to avoid collusions (SLAM)
  • carry a sensor plattform (for a start like arduino)
  • communicate everything to a base station (if possible with mesh networking)

The result is now called aMoSeRo which fullfilled all this requirements below 500 EUR and can be further investigated here.

During the progress, I felt obligated to publish the things I did, but couldn’t be found on google back then. This is why I created this page.
